2" Japanese glass float

Pretty little vintage Japanese glass float. Approximately 2" in diameter. This would have been used on a fisherman's net out at sea, and were typically made of recycled glass. The floats in our store have all been beach-combed off West Coast beaches after floating across the Pacific Ocean from Japan. Sometimes this process takes decades. Consequently, each float is slightly different, with its own unique bubbles, scuffs, and buttons (the thicker piece of glass at the base).
